African Public Radio (RPA) was founded in a conflict setting, bringing people from different ethnicities together with a common vision. The radio station seeks to contribute to a citizenship that is free to express itself, conscious, and respectful of its obligations related to its rights and responsibilities.
I am a very engaged journalist. I have conducted detailed investigations into corruption, assassinations, mass murders, and more in Burundi to ensure that the truth is revealed. I took on the role of Director of RPA in April 2004.
My goal is to improve the effectiveness of RPA in changing the behavior of Burundians and improving their effective participation as citizens.
